UI/UX Design Intern

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Design Intern to join our growing team at TechBrein. As we take on more client website and web application projects, we need a design-minded person who can bridge the gap between development and client expectations -ensuring every product we ship not only functions well but looks and feels right from the very first pitch.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Design.

• Working knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.

• Basic understanding of responsive web design principles and how designs translate into HTML/CSS.

• A portfolio (college projects, personal work, or freelance work is fine) showing UI/UX design sense - layout, typography, colour, spacing.

• Good communication skills - comfortable presenting design ideas and receiving feedback from both clients and developers.

• Eagerness to learn, take ownership, and grow into a full-time design role.

• Bonus: familiarity with basic branding/graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva).

• Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity UI designs for client websites, landing pages, and web applications using tools like Figma or Adobe XD.

• Work closely with the sales and development teams to translate client briefs and references into clear visual concepts before development begins.

• Partner with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately, providing specs, assets, and clarifications throughout the build process.

• Iterate on designs based on client feedback, reducing back-and-forth rework after a site has already been developed.

• Help maintain a simple internal library of reusable UI components, colour palettes, and typography guidelines to speed up future projects.

• Stay current with UI/UX trends, competitor websites, and best practices in usability to bring fresh ideas to client projects.

• Build clickable prototypes to help clients visualize the end product and approve direction early.
